In conflict and crisis settings, vulnerable populations face heightened risks of abuse, exploitation, neglect, and violence. JDPC Maiduguri’s Protection program works to safeguard the rights, dignity, and safety of children, women, persons with disabilities, and other at-risk groups across Borno State.
We provide survivor-centered case management, establish safe spaces, facilitate referrals to essential services, and engage communities in promoting protective behaviors. Our interventions also include awareness campaigns and advocacy for the inclusion and rights of marginalized individuals, ensuring no one is left behind.
Protection is integrated across all our programming, with a strong emphasis on community-based protection mechanisms that are culturally appropriate, inclusive, and sustainable.
JDPC Maiduguri provides lifesaving, life-sustaining, and life-building interventions, championing dignity and sustainable development for the most vulnerable communities.
